Following the meeting of the Lyon Metropolitan Permanent Commission on March 25, 2022, stricter regulations for Airbnb rentals were decided. These new rules take effect on June 1, 2022, and make obtaining change-of-use authorizations for furnished tourist rentals more complex by introducing a compensation principle.
