Last-minute Christmas prep: The list of 4 essential things to do to get your vacation rentals ready!

You're renting out your place over the holidays to head off to the slopes or soak up the sun (lucky you!). To ensure the only thing you have to do on Christmas Day is keep an eye on the turkey in the oven, we thought this Christmas to-do list would be a huge help! A list of 4 things to do or delegate, depending on your availability and, most importantly, your mood.

‍

1. Tidy up the apartment before welcoming guests

Take care of tidying up the family apartment before welcoming that Italian family coming to spend the holidays at your place. 15 days is enough to fund your family getaway to Punta Cana or your ski runs in Verbier: consider booking the services of a Welkeys concierge to ensure you no longer have to worry about the state of your apartment. Your dedicated short-term rental concierge will stop by the apartment to tidy up and prepare for your guests' arrival.

‍

2. Put your property under management to save time

To welcome your guests and hand over the keys while you're already off on vacation, think of Welkeys. Our concierge teams remain available during the Christmas and New Year holidays. If there's one time of year you need them, this is it! You can count on them if you are renting out short-term on Airbnb, Booking, or others…

‍

3. Decorate the property for travelers spending Christmas in your vacation rental

Getting a Christmas tree delivered is possible, especially if you're prone to lower back pain or other issues that are quite debilitating at the end of the year. Here is an example of a site where you can have a tree delivered at the click of a button!

‍

4. Choose activities to relax during your stay

Getting your hair done or a foot massage at home is possible with yoobo.fr, the leading platform for at-home beauty treatments… there's nothing like it to be super relaxed and face the end-of-year banquets with complete peace of mind. Welkeys has tested the concept, and we are truly sold on it.
