As you are likely aware, under the latest regulations concerning short-term rentals, you are now required to request and display a registration number on your listing. This process will only be mandatory in Paris starting in December, but the online service is already available. To avoid any extra hassle, Welkeys has broken down all the steps for you to declare your property and obtain your registration number!
Step one
Go to the dedicated website for the City of Paris to begin the process. You simply need to create an account or log in if you already have one.

Step two
Enter your personal contact information. Don't forget to have your SIRET number handy if you wish to register your business (optional).

Step three
Enter the information regarding your property. You can enter the number found on your property tax statement ("identifiant du local") to speed up the process. Otherwise, you can simply provide the details of your property. In particular, you must specify the number of rooms and beds available in your property.

Step four
The process is complete; all that remains is to submit your request. The City of Paris will now process your application and will ask you to provide supporting documents at a later date.

If you have followed all the steps correctly (feel free to ask us questions in the comments or by email if you have any doubts), you should arrive at the following screen where your registration number ("Identification du meublé") is located.
Now that you have obtained your registration number, be sure to include it on all your listings across the various platforms. Of course, if you use a service such as Welkeys Premium, you must also provide us with your registration number!
And if you don't have the time to handle the management of your vacation rental, reach out to our Welkeys Premium team as well 🙂
