During these freezing polar temperatures, all you want to do is curl up by the fireplace with a good book, warmed by the sunbeams miraculously streaming through the window. Welkeys shares some great activities to keep you nice and cozy when it's 28°F (-2°C) outside.
Solution #1: Stay cozy in your vacation rental
If you really don't feel like moving and your Airbnb, Housetrip, or Abritel rental has a fireplace, curl up by the fire—no need to do anything else! Except maybe brew a nice cup of Earl Grey tea and dive into a good mystery novel.
Solution #2: Try an indoor activity
If you've been inactive for three days and that last brownie is still weighing you down, opt for a little light but effective activity. Indoor activities do exist! :) If you don't have a partner, check out the nearest gym. Our favorites in Paris: Le Klay (2nd Arr.), Le KenClub (8th Arr.), and L'Usine (2nd Arr.).
Solution #3: How about a museum?
You're in a city you don't know, and even if you've already walked its streets, you certainly haven't seen the latest exhibitions. Ah, the museum!</1> A great plan when it's 28°F outside. It's warm, and what's more... you often learn more from the extraordinary discoveries you make there.
Solution #4: Rent out your apartment and head to a warm country
Rent out your apartment or house for a short stay and fly off to a VERY WARM country!! With Welkeys, whether you want to manage your listing yourself or delegate it to us, we handle everything for you while you go soak up the sun on a distant beach.
