Welkeys has discovered The Keys, the smart lock for your short-term rentals.

Today we are introducing The Keys, the smart lock, our "smart lock" partner for your short-term rentals. Because we at Welkeys deal with the challenge of key management every day, we developed this ultra-connected partnership.

‍

What is a smart lock?

The idea is to offer hosting and linen management services without having to deal with the major headache of keys! Thanks to the The Keys solution, no more stress—your keys are on your smartphone and your guests' phones! Convenient, right? This access-sharing solution consists of a handle with an integrated smart opening system and a smartphone app. The handle fits all standard door and locker locks on the market, and installation takes just a few minutes, with no major construction or specialized technician required.

‍

How does a smart lock work?

Powered by a rechargeable battery, it requires no wiring and has a battery life of up to 2,500 cycles, or about two years of use. The The Keys mobile app communicates with the handle, allowing the user to open their door in under two seconds simply by bringing their smartphone near it. From the same app, they can also manage, share, and control access to their spaces, for example by setting time slots and access permissions. They can securely activate and deactivate digital keys while staying informed in real time about when their door is opened or closed. The smart lock is available starting at 179 euros.
