Meet Dominique, City Manager

1) How long have you lived in Annecy?

My whole life! I was born in Annecy.

2) How long have you been working in the short-term rental concierge industry?

‍

I’ve always been immersed in this world. I am the son and grandson of hotel and restaurant owners, so I naturally followed that path. I have over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry and about a decade in short-term rentals.

‍

3) So you’re a true expert on the area and your city! In your opinion, what is Annecy’s greatest asset?

‍

The beauty of the city, its lake, and these mountains, of course. Not to mention its gastronomy! For example, there are several great Michelin-starred chefs around the lake. There is also a multitude of sports activities to enjoy and exceptional nature to observe and admire.

4) If you had to recommend one activity or a place to visit for a traveler during their stay?

‍

I would recommend all the water activities and extreme sports that the lake has to offer. As for sightseeing, the choice is vast and diverse! But in my opinion, the Gorges du Fier are a must-see.

‍

6) What types of services do you offer?

I offer everything a standard concierge service provides, plus bread and breakfast delivery, childcare, grocery shopping, and more.

7) What do you enjoy most about your job?

‍

Above all, I love the contact with clients, which is essential in this business. I also get great satisfaction from providing my guests with a high-end service that meets their expectations.

8) In your opinion, what are the essential qualities of a good City Manager? 

‍
