As a highly renowned seaside resort, it is particularly popular with surfers thanks to its world-class spots, including La Gravière. In fact, the French Surfing Federation has chosen Hossegor as its headquarters! Golf and rugby are also very popular sports here. Facing the ocean, Hossegor is an ideal destination for water sports enthusiasts and those who just want to kick back and relax!

A vacation destination means plenty of activities! In summer more than ever, many events are offered in and around Hossegor. In early July, the Book Fair delights reading enthusiasts. For its 22nd edition, the event will take place from July 3 to 5 at the Sporting-Casino. Nearly 3,000 visitors are expected!

From July 16 to 19, the Hossegor golf course will host the 70th Grand Prix des Landes. This competition is highly regarded in the golf world and is open to all players registered with the French federation or a foreign federation. Then, from August 6 to 9, the Little Festival will take over Capbreton, Seignosse, and Hossegor, blending electronic music, street art, and surfing! You can already book your tickets on the event website (refundable if the festival is canceled).

At the beginning of September, Latin music and dance will take center stage with the Latinossegor Festival. A festive event celebrating its 20th anniversary this year! With concerts and entertainment, nearly 30,000 people are expected to dance, sing, and have fun at the Place des Landais in the town center. Finally, we can't talk about Hossegor without mentioning the Quiksilver & Roxy Pro France, a World Surf League event coming to our Southwest from October 1 to 11, 2020. An event full of entertainment and spectacular waves not to be missed on the Landes coast!
