La Clusaz offers approximately 125 kilometers of skiable terrain (210 if you include the entire Aravis area), 85 runs, and 49 ski lifts spread across 5 different massifs: Beauregard, Manigod, l’Etale, l’Aiguille, and Balme. This vast ski area also features a snowpark and a fun zone designed for both kids and adults looking to learn the basics of freestyle skiing.
This year, a major new attraction is offering vacationers a fresh thrill: the Balme footbridge. Extending out over the void, it promises a breathtaking view of the mountains!
Set in an idyllic, protected environment, the resort remains easy to reach, located just 30 kilometers from Annecy and 50 minutes from Geneva International Airport. Thanks to the wide range of activities it offers, La Clusaz has become a popular year-round destination. The average nightly rate is 130 euros. A variety of events
La Clusaz kicks off its season by celebrating the magic of Christmas with its Pestacles du Père Noël (Santa’s Shows), held daily from December 23 to January 1. With a show put on by ESF instructors and a fireworks display, New Year’s Eve is also celebrated in style. And the events in January don’t stop there! On Friday, January 10, music will take over all the resort’s high-altitude bars and restaurants for the Full Moon event. Then, the following day, the Le Bélier Blanc trail race will challenge vacationers with an 11-kilometer run and an 8-kilometer snowshoe hike.
In February, an event dedicated to digital professionals will return to La Clusaz for the fifth time: the Sommets du Digital. This will be followed by the resort’s Carnival, a festive moment that has become a true village institution. As for snow sports, you won’t be left out, with the LCZ Freestyle Show (March 13-14), the Derby de Balme (March 21), and the Défi Foly (April 19), a wacky and humorous competition.
