Estimate my income with Welkeys

This week, your Welkeys concierge service presents the various energy renovation grants currently available. As explained in our article from last week, reducing our energy consumption is beneficial from both a financial and an environmental perspective.

‍

We have summarized the various available grants here. If you would like more information before starting the process, you can visit the government website.

‍

Ma Prime Rénov’

This grant has been available to all households and co-ownerships since October 2020 for primary residences or rental properties. It is provided as a flat-rate payment and includes bonuses based on the initial and final condition of the property after the work is completed. It is calculated based on household income.

‍

Zero-interest eco-loan

The zero-interest eco-loan can reach an amount of 30,000 euros, repayable over a maximum of 15 years. It is available to owners for their primary residence and to co-ownerships.

‍

It is intended for specific projects, whether carried out individually or as a package, such as roof insulation or replacing a heating system. Related work is also eligible. This work must be carried out by RGE-certified (Recognized Guarantor of the Environment) contractors. Applications must be submitted to a bank before the end of 2021.

‍

10% or 5.5% VAT

A reduced VAT rate of 10% or 5.5% may be applied to renovation work. It applies to labor, raw materials, supplies, and equipment.

‍

The work can be carried out in a primary or secondary residence. The work and material purchases must be invoiced by a company to which you must provide a certificate stating the purpose of the work. This can be downloaded from the website mentioned above.

‍

Energy Savings Certificates

Under the Energy Savings Certificates (CEE) program, energy suppliers are required to encourage consumers to save energy. This incentive can take the form of an energy audit, referrals to contractors, grants, or loans.

‍

All owners can discuss grant terms with an energy supplier, whether for work on a primary or secondary residence. Please note that the work must be carried out by an RGE-certified company.

‍

Energy Savings "Coup de Pouce" Bonus

This bonus can be used for heating or insulation projects. It is available to everyone, with varying amounts. It is awarded by a signatory company (often an energy supplier).

‍

Here again, the work must be carried out by an RGE-certified company. The bonus can be provided in several forms: invoice deductions, vouchers, or direct payments. You can simulate how much you could receive if you were to replace your boiler.

‍

Avoiding energy renovation scams

General advice is to carefully check company certifications and quotes, especially if you were approached directly. Think carefully before committing to any work and take a step back from the proposals you receive. Find all government advice here.

‍

You can receive free assistance from a FAIRE advisor. Numerous simulators will allow you to estimate the amount of aid you could receive.
