The La Cave de Pauline concept

The idea for La Cave de Pauline first took root in the mind of its founder, Pauline, in 2020. After the lockdown, she decided to embark on a new adventure and joined a Parisian incubator to give her project the best possible chance of success.

Passionate about oenology, she wanted to bring a wine merchant’s expertise directly to people's homes. She envisioned a service delivering high-quality organic wines, accompanied by tasting tips to introduce enthusiasts to the techniques of wine appreciation.

To gain professional expertise, she trained at the École des Vins et Spiritueux. Through this training, she acquired a key skill for her project: the ability to host tasting workshops in a variety of settings.

Another key player who helped develop the project is Maxime. A former sommelier turned winemaker, he assists Pauline in selecting the vintages featured at La Cave de Pauline. With his experienced palate, he unearths the best wines from French terroirs to delight your taste buds.

Eco-responsibility is at the heart of La Cave de Pauline’s commitments. To honor this, all the wines selected and offered are from organic and biodynamic agriculture. They are 100% organic, and their production has a positive impact on the environment. These commitments also ensure the quality of our carefully chosen wines.

The vineyards selected by Maxime are family-run estates that practice committed and responsible agriculture. Furthermore, the materials used for deliveries are 100% recycled, and deliveries in Paris are made by bicycle.

In addition to eco-responsibility, another core value at La Cave de Pauline is passion. It is this passion that drives La Cave de Pauline and makes it a unique experience. The goal is to bring winemakers, enthusiasts, and novices together through the discovery of bottles and workshops. Our watchwords are: conviviality, discovery, and connection.

To help you discover La Cave de Pauline, we offer various products and services so everyone can find the right fit. In addition to our e-shop, which lists and provides access to all of La Cave de Pauline’s wines, you can sign up for a monthly subscription box.

These subscriptions allow you to receive a monthly selection of wine, a gourmet surprise, and a digital tutorial on how to taste the month's bottle(s). Different plans are available to suit everyone's preferences. These boxes range from one to three bottles depending on your consumption and needs. In addition to the quantity of bottles, you can also choose between different box themes:

If you are visiting Paris or the surrounding suburbs during your vacation, or if you live there, Pauline also offers in-home tasting workshops. For groups of 4 to 6 people, she shares her knowledge of wine and the fundamental principles of tasting in a friendly atmosphere. Pauline works with you to determine the list and number of wines to be tasted, ensuring the experience is perfectly tailored to your tastes. A unique experience and memorable moments are guaranteed!
