Every Sunday, Welkeys introduces you to one of our concierges. They share their regions, local tips, and little secrets for hosting your guests. Meet Jeremy, our concierge in Haute-Savoie, specifically in the city of Annecy.

#1. What city do you live in?

I live in the beautiful city of Annecy.

#2. What do you do for a living? What are your passions? What languages do you speak?

Professionally, I work for a precision engineering company as an industrialization methods manager. My passions include model aircraft, snowboarding/skiing—like any good local from Savoy—boating, and wakeboarding. I spent a year in Australia in 2010, so I speak English fluently.

#3. Why become a Welkeys concierge?

I decided to become a Welkeys concierge because I thought it would be a great adventure. I heard Chloé talking about her project on BFM and wanted to support it. Being in a tourist region, it was also an opportunity to meet people from all walks of life and help them discover our area.

#4. Any local tips you'd recommend near you?

In winter, it’s all about the resorts. La Clusaz is a very friendly family resort with a ski area that is accessible in terms of both price and technical difficulty, with some great off-piste spots (use caution). And if you're lucky, you might even run into Candide Thovex.

#5. What is your secret to a successful mission as a Welkeys concierge?

You always have to smile and be attentive. The best thing is to always have the address of a trendy restaurant or bar, preferably close to the rental property.
