On the agenda for this weekend: sports, relaxation, a gourmet festival, and music. Let's start right away with the sporting highlight:

‍

Ultra-Trail du Mont Blanc

Taking place for a week from August 22nd to 28th, 2016, this race overlooks Europe, spanning from Switzerland to France and passing through Italy. The best athletes and elite runners from around the world gather for this event. The Ultra-Trail is organized in the Alps massif in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc. The course is dazzling, featuring high-mountain landscapes. The Ultra-Trail du Mont Blanc is one of the most difficult races in the world. The route is dotted with glaciers and numerous high-altitude mountain passes, the highest of which, the Grand Col Ferret, reaches over 2,500 meters in elevation.

‍

Le Grand Pruneau Show

For 3 days, the city of Agen hosts the Grand Pruneau Show. The star of the show is Agen's iconic fruit: the prune. Numerous activities are organized around it in a friendly and warm atmosphere. The program includes tastings, a gourmet market, concerts, street performances, and sports experiences.

‍

Concert highlights and the final music festivals of the summer:

From August 25th to 28th, three festivals are highly anticipated by music fans: "Rock en Seine" at the gates of Paris, "Le Cabaret Vert" in Charleville-Mézières, and "Woodstower" in Lyon. This weekend's program features nothing but the best in music!

‍

This weekend is also two days before the back-to-school rush, so two words come to mind: "Relaxation" & "Tanning." Welkeys brings you a TOP 4 list of beaches where you can enjoy the final moments of this weekend of August 27th & 28th. Go ahead and head out to the beaches:
