Your Airbnb concierge service not only handles the management of your vacation rentals but also provides great ideas for welcoming your Airbnb guests. That’s why, from time to time, we like to share a few tips to add to your guest welcome books.
A few weeks ago, we gave you 3 activity ideas to suggest to your guests during their stay in your Airbnb rental. Among those three ideas was the Food Trip, a tasting passport. Your concierge team, in addition to being experts in managing your Airbnb rental, are also real foodies! That’s why we decided to test out their famous walking tour!
Choosing your tasting passport
The Food Trip offers a whole range of tasting passports, each as appealing as the next. There are 6 passports available, offering 6 different tasting routes, and believe us, it’s very hard to choose between them! Whether you’re a gourmet or a bon vivant, there is bound to be a passport that suits you. If you want to roam the entire capital to taste the best products from the best artisans in Paris, or simply enjoy an aperitif in one of the liveliest neighborhoods, there is a passport made for you. We told you it was hard to choose, didn't we? After a few minutes of reflection, we chose the Authentic Passport in the Montorgueil neighborhood.
Discovering the passport
Once we had our precious passports in hand, we browsed through the pages to organize our gourmet walk. This passport provides access to 6 tastings at 6 different artisans in the Montorgueil neighborhood. Inside, we found a description of each artisan, including the shop's address and opening hours, as well as a map of the neighborhood so you can create your own route with complete freedom! This passport is available in both French and English (perfect for the travelers you host in your Airbnb rental, right?!). Then, at the end of the passport, you'll find your 6 vouchers giving you access to your 6 tastings. To sum it up, it’s very simple: you choose the order in which you want to visit each shop, and once you arrive, you get a tasting in exchange for a voucher!

The Welkeys team's route
So, with passport in hand and rumbling stomachs, we set off to conquer the culinary wonders of the 2nd arrondissement of Paris! We started our walk at a fine Corsican grocery store, À la Main. We were able to taste a delicious Corsican sausage while the two creators told us the story of their shop. If you have a vacation rental near Rue Saint-Sauveur, tell your concierge to recommend this shop to your guests; they are sure to love it!
After the charcuterie, it was time for cheese! Our dear passport sent us to a charming cheese shop called Maison de Savoie. As soon as we stepped through the door and presented our lovely vouchers, we were comfortably seated by the managers. They are true lovers of the Savoie region and its products, and they shared their history with us while we savored various cheeses sourced directly from the producer. The place also offers excellent charcuterie and cheese boards, accompanied by delicious wine, and it is now part of our Airbnb concierges' address book :)
With full bellies, we continued our journey toward sweeter tastings! We went to Les Artizans to rediscover French pastry with their delicious éclairs and macarons!
Finally, all those sweet and savory tastings eventually made us thirsty! Flipping through the pages of our passport, we saw two choices: a cold tea tasting and a wine tasting. Heading to Kodama, we decided to start with the cold tea! Here, we were welcomed by Martin and Vincent, two infusion alchemists, who took the time to tell us their story and explain the entire cold infusion process while we quenched our thirst with their delicious creations. If your tenants are looking for a beautiful, cozy place to take a gourmet break, do as our Airbnb concierges do and give them the address for Kodama.
As you’ve gathered, we saved the wine tasting for last. And yes, we decided to enjoy a pleasant wine tasting to conclude an afternoon rich in culinary discoveries! We were welcomed and comfortably seated in a lovely wine cellar in the Montorgueil neighborhood. Here, our artisan, passionate about oenology, served us wines that were each more delicious than the last while providing details on their origin and production methods.
What your Airbnb concierge thinks
The entire Welkeys team enjoyed this experience full of treats. We were able to make great connections and discover some excellent spots. We loved the concept of a passport filled with great addresses combined with a walk that can be freely composed around these shops so much that we decided to contact the Food Trip team to learn a little more, but especially with the idea of pampering the tenants of your Airbnb apartments.
The Welkeys team and the Food Trip team have therefore partnered up to offer this walk to travelers arriving in the Airbnb rentals you entrust to our full management—great, right? Even before being welcomed by our Airbnb concierge, we offer various activities and services to your travelers so they can fully enjoy their stay in your short-term rental and ensure you maintain Superhost status on the platform!
