‍

The Lyon Opera

‍We’ll start off gently with a look at the Lyon Opera, which is offering an unusual show this holiday season: Rossini’s famous reimagined Cinderella, "La Cenerentola." It’s a funny and charming performance that is sure to delight your guests—a significant asset if your property is located near the Opera.

‍

Lyon Theater

‍Continuing our immersion into the cultural scene, let’s take a look at the theater. Many shows are currently running for the holidays, but we’ve chosen to highlight Arturo Brachetti’s show at the Théâtre des Célestins. It’s a modern, colorful performance that will meet all your guests' expectations, featuring video, sand art, 3D mapping, and even magic tricks!

‍

Christmas Carols

‍We couldn't possibly skip the Christmas carols and choirs this time of year. Of course, you can attend the traditional Christmas Pastorales at the Chapelle de la Trinité. But for this year, we suggest checking out the Christmas Gospels, also at the Chapelle de la Trinité. It’s always an enchanting and moving experience for Christmas and New Year’s.

‍

The Christmas Circus

‍For the younger crowd (and the young at heart!), check out the Imagine Christmas Circus. Many artists will be there to showcase bold and creative, dreamlike, and fantastic acts. Hurry, the big top closes its doors on January 7, 2018. Not a minute to lose!

Tips for optimizing your rental

‍This list, while far from exhaustive, gives you an idea of the events that might interest your potential guests and which you can use to highlight your listings. The idea is, of course, to emphasize your property's proximity to the venues that attract the most tourists (opera, theater, etc.). Furthermore, it is important to use the right vocabulary and terminology to engage your travelers, as is often the case in the tourism sector.
